Cyber Resilience Lead
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within NHS Wales Informatics Service to join the new NHS Wales Cyber Resilience Unit being set up to act as the delegated authority in establishing and maintaining NHS Wales’ response to the Network & Information Systems Regulations (NIS Regulations).
About the Role
You will be working in the Unit which will operationalise the NIS regulations on behalf of Welsh Government. The Unit’s function is to have oversight of NIS audits, and the associated action plans to remediate any gaps which those audits identify. The Unit will also provide operational support and advice for those completing the NIS reporting framework set out by Welsh Government, and supporting operators of essential services in identifying and reporting a NIS incident. The Unit will be responsible for reporting on the status of the NHS Wales cyber posture against the NIS regulations to Welsh Government as Competent Authority. The Unit will provide you with opportunities to work on a continuous stream of new challenges.
