There is much to do if we are going to protect the future of our ocean, and with a focus on improving our supporter interaction and engagement, you ll use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to record and track our data in line with compliant processes and GDPR. You ll also develop our organisational data strategy, finding the links between our data from litter surveys to jellyfish sightings and work across our organisation with other data analysts to grow and develop our data culture, playing a vital role in helping us make informed and evidenced decisions to achieve our ocean goals. We work with communities, businesses and governments so that together, we can make a difference. What you ll do – Use Access Charity CRM to provide insight, tracking, recording and processing of supporter interactions and support colleagues in doing so. – Work with teams across the charity to ensure our data gives the best possible insight, tracking, recording and processing of all supporter interactions. – Help support organisational effectiveness and efficiency of CRM & other database systems including maintenance, training and documentation. – Help ensure data is fully compliant with data protection regulations. – Contribute to the organisational data strategy ensuring data is managed effectively across all teams. – Assist with embedding a data lead culture within the organisation. What you ll need to show us – Knowledge of CRM system operation, ideally on Access Charity CRM or similar including managing data, problem solving, analysis and development. – A high level of analytical ability, with effective research and evaluation skills. – Can apply your knowledge of SQL to creating effective queries, joining and cross-referencing columns and producing reports. – Experience of developing database reports, dashboards and extracting data – Ability to confidently segment, analyse, process, and interpret data sets. – Can navigate constraints without frustration, bringing an optimistic, problem-solving mindset. – Approachable and adaptable able to communicate effectively, build rapport and adapt to non-data specialists as part of a team.
