Data Protection Analyst – Global Funds Services & Controls – York The Role We are looking for a Data Protection Analyst who can provide critical support for the central Data Privacy Office and the operation and oversight of the Data Privacy framework, standards, processes and controls. As Data Protection Analyst you will directly support the DPO and the AI business areas with their obligations to comply with Data Protection regulation, including the GDPR-General Data Protection Regulation. You will support training and awareness activities which helps to build and maintain a culture of Data Protection awareness and continuous improvement for all Aviva Investor employees who carry out processing of personal data. In addition to this you will, take part in reporting and MI, to support decision making to track compliance with all aspects of applicable data protection legislation and regulation that applies to the processing of personal data within AI. Responsibilities Support the Data Privacy Manager with the provision of guidance and advice on Data Protection matters across all UK/Non-UK business areas, face to face where necessary.Maintain central logs and mailbox to ensure effective tracking and management of queries, issues, rights requests and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).Monitor daily ‘alerts’ triggered by the CISO Data Loss Prevention tool and Bloomberg and pro-actively input into development of effective policies.Act as secretary for the Data Privacy Working Group (DPWG) and other meetings as needed, booking meetings, preparing packs and managing minutes and actions as necessary.Collect, analyse and report on information required for effective oversight and monitoring of data protection metrics. • Support the development and delivery of regular DP training and awareness activities.Maintain an effective Sharepoint site for sharing and communicating important information.
