We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
As the interim Deputy Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Payroll & Pensions managing a large team of payroll professionals, delivering both structure and strength to the overall payroll and benefits operation.
You will manage a team of payroll administrators on a day to day basis in the delivery of an effective, efficient and compliant payroll service to a range of public and private sector clients.
Experience managing and leading a payroll and pensions team at a senior level
Professional qualification to graduate or equivalent level demonstrating competence in a relevant field
An excellent working knowledge of statutory pay related legislation (e.g. Income Tax, NI and statutory payment regulations), pension scheme regulations and employee terms & conditions
Knowledge of managing IT enabled high volume transactions and processes
