The RNLI is seeking an inquisitive and collaborative Digital Optimisation Analyst, and the full-time role comes with a salary of £33,582- £39,508 and excellent benefits. About Us The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity that provides a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service, seasonal lifeguards, and water safety education and initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key part in defining and delivering how we use data to support the continued growth of the RNLI into the next two hundred years. Working alongside the wider Digital team and our fundraising and Water Safety SMEs. This role will focus on web analytics and how we use this data to improve and optimise our websites, but also drive forward how we pull in multiple data sources to continue to make data driven decisions. Core Responsibilities – Be an SME in Google Analytics 4, build and maintain key shared dashboards and reports within Power BI & GA4, alongside creation of a central sharing repository for all dashboards. As well as assisting in the technical set up of GA4 and other tools – Review ongoing performance, analysing data and leveraging insights to illustrate what drives performance. Proactively identify challenges & opportunities considering organisational outcomes and our Digital KPIs – Work collaboratively in our conversion rate optimisation (CRO) cross-functional team (e.g. Creative, Fundraising, Digital Experience etc.) to contribute ideas and help make the best possible decisions (e.g. priorities, sequencing, set-up etc.) – Utilise available tools to proactively identify data-driven opportunities for improvement in the (url removed) digital experience, sharing concrete insights across team and in relevant forums to trigger action and site optimisation – Identify data opportunities to create a more integrated set of data sources to cohesively explain performance About you The following skills would be advantageous, but not mandatory. – BA or equivalent in analytics, computer science, maths, Data Science, Big Data or other related field – Experience from an insights and analytics environment (with experience in GA4, Power BI, Looker Studio) – Experience working with big data platforms (BigQuery is a plus) – Experience in the process and delivery of conversion rate optimisation programmes – Working knowledge of digital A/B testing and personalisation platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize etc) – Technical knowledge of Tag Management Solutions such as Google Tag Manager – Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive data-based decision making – Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and developments If this Digital Optimisation Analyst role interests you, please apply today!
