Your new role
In this new role to the company as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be carrying out the service and repair of multiple large axis machine tools. Additionally you will also be relied on for the fault finding, diagnosing, and correcting different types of errors that you may find on a variety of CNC Milling Machine tools.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you will need to be skilled in the use of a variety of different CNC milling machines as well as being able to interrogate PLC programs using Siemens’ S7. You will also need to be fluent in the Siemens 840D CNC Control systems and skilled in interrogating the control software and ladder. This is as well as having the confidence to work on your own initiative and having worked prior to this for either a Machine tool builder or the maintenance side of the industry
