SET Recruitment are currently recruiting an English Teacher who is available to work long-term supply throughout the academic year to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a qualified English Teacher to provide cover in an established, mainstream secondary school based in Merthyr, to pupils aged between 11-16. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to provide a creative, exciting and innovative learning environment whereby pupils are encouraged to show ambition, maximise their potential, and to embrace all aspects of school life in order to develop a wide-ranging skill set.Candidate requirements:

• English Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher)
• Experience teaching in secondary schools covering Key Stages 3 & 4
• A current Enhanced DBS – SET Recruitment will provide a free DBS if you are not on the update service
• Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) in the necessary category (this can be done during the application process)
• UK right to work documentation with experience teaching in the UK
