Reed Technology have partnered with a leading industrial manufacturing business based in Bradford, to support them in their search for an ERP Business Analyst.
The position involves providing support and leadership for improvement projects and taking charge of initiating, designing, controlling, and executing IT projects that involve implementing applications and making significant changes, with a specific focus on Warehouse Management Systems and EDI.
The role is available on a hybrid working basis, with a salary of £35,000 – £45,000 on offer.
Key Aspects of Role:
Investigating and analysing various aspects of business operations, including functions, processes, information flow, and data structures
Using different analysis tools and techniques to optimize relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces, and organizational structures
Evaluating system alternatives to identify the most efficient way to meet user needs and developing knowledge across different departmental modules
Ensuring seamless integration of new developments with existing business systems
Playing a key role in developing business reviews, presentations, reports, and analysis for management meetings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Implementing solutions effectively and efficiently, following defined project methodology
Taking ownership of IT projects from initiation to execution, overseeing application implementations, and managing major changes
Creating and maintaining a project schedule and conversion plan, tracking tasks and establishing clear milestones
Meeting or exceeding set standards and Key Performance Indicators
Managing project risks and issues, defining project scope and approach
Leading business workshops to gather and refine requirements for IT solutions and processes
Standardizing documentation practices and creating training materials
Providing training for key users if requested
Developing and implementing backup methods and procedures
Ensuring accurate consideration and implementation of business needs
Troubleshooting operational and usage issues
Assisting the broader IT community in improving the quality of IT products and services
Providing on-site support for users in 1st and 2nd line support if needed
Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s business systems and databases.
The ideal candidate with have:
Minimum three years of experience as an ERP/Business Analyst in domains such as MRO, Manufacturing, MRP, Projects, or Finance.
Knowledge and experience in ERP implementation projects, including a thorough understanding of their life cycle.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical individuals effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with well-developed interpersonal skills.
