Working at Brighton & Hove Clinic, you will join the multidisciplinary team that provides CAMHS Tier 4 service for young people aged 12 – 18 years with a prime diagnosis of eating disorders and who may have other metals health conditions.
You will work 37.5 hours a week which includes one day over the weekend and a late session to 20:00 a month.
Reporting to the Therapy Lead, you will provide specialist systemic psychotherapy assessments and interventions, offer psychotherapy perspective and advice, and will be the care coordinator for one or more young people.
As a CAMHS Family Therapist, you will have a Postgraduate Diploma / MSC level qualification and substantial experience working in a similar role to support service users with eating disorder and/or inpatient environment.
As a Family Therapist, you will:
Complete all recording and reporting tasks associated with clinical work.
Contribute to training and supervision of ward staff as provided by the psychological therapies team.
To continually monitor risk of all service users for whom there is direct contact.
Prepare clinical; reports as required, e.g. assessment reports, discharge summaries.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Family / Systemic Therapy qualification to MSC or Equivalent
Registration with UKCP or other appropriate organisation.
Prior professional qualification.
At least 4 years’ experience of working with Adolescents in related field to include at least 2 years post qualifying as Systemic Therapist.
CAMHS experience at tier 3 or higher (Including eating disorders)
