We are currently seeking a Financial Administrator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Leamington Spa. Your role will be to ensure the smooth running of the finance department, ensuring that the purchase and sales ledgers are kept up to date in an accurate and timely manner and facilitating production of monthly and annual accounts to schedule. Key duties and responsibilities Process new accounts as required. Allocate / enter payments Carry out a full credit control regime – Statements through to legal action if necessary. Minimise aged debt. Process new supplier details as required. Process purchase invoices as below. Scan, enter via hubdoc and file as appropriate. Check pricing and quantity against order. Confirm entries. Instruct / set up payments and remittance advices. Check suppliers statements. Code and enter card and cash purchases. Support office admin as required. Requirements Accuracy in timely completion of tasks. Analysis and problem solving skills. Capability to identify root cause of discrepancies. Tenacity and ability to identify and resolve queries. Commitment to maintain confidentiality. Proficient in using Xero, Sage 50 or similar and an understanding of general accounting principles. Experience with working in ERP & CRM systems and good Microsoft Office skills including excel. AAT or similar qualification preferred.
