We draw on the learning from our work to promote a wider transformation in the way policy makers, funders and others engage with communities and place.We are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team on a part-time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract, working 21.6 hours per week. Working alongside a small and busy team, you’ll be responsible for financial management and reporting across the organisation. You’ll work with budget holders and the programmes team to support several aspects of financial management, including business partnering, analysis, reconciliation and monitoring.You’ll prepare monthly management accounts as well as other financial reports, analysing data to support effective decision-making and managing the maintenance of up-to-date financial records. Additionally, you will:- Conduct internal audits and support audit processes- Review and update financial policies – Act as the main point of contact for financial queries- Build effective working relationships with those we fund and supportAbout YouTo be considered as a Finance Business Partner, you will need:- A professional accountancy qualification or part-qualification (or equivalent)- Experience as a finance business partner, analyst or similar – Experience of working within a busy finance team- Experience and understanding of charity accounting and SORP- Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and financial regulations- Experience of using financial software – Excellent time management skills- The ability to manage confidential data – Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsThe closing date for this role is Friday 16th June 2023.
