Gleeson Finance are proudly partnering exclusively with this manufacturing business in Coventry, to recruit an experienced Finance Director. Reporting in to the CFO, you will lead the daily management of finance, providing commercial support and interpersonal leadership. The business has undergone significant change in recent years, so we are looking for a candidate who thrives within a growing SME environment.

You will lead the financial strategic planning and forecasting, enhancing commercial profitability through financial analysis and strategic input. You will oversee the financial activities and ongoing communications within the whole business, whilst developing an established finance team.

Other responsibilities include overseeing the monthly accounts and reporting processes, cash flow management and forecasting, year-end accounting and audit scheduling. This role is integral to continued functional development in business partnering with senior stakeholders and the wider business. You will continuously improve internal controls, supporting the business strategy.

This role is based at the Coventry head office, however there will be some travel required to visit stakeholders in other parts of the UK and travel overseas on occasion.
