Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a UK Finance Director to join one of Yorkshire’s fastest growing PE backed businesses. This is an ideal opportunity for a Qualified Financial Controller who wants to make the step into a No.1 role in finance to help shape the growth strategy of the business in the coming years.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, this role will sit on the UK Leadership team and will work closely with the Managing Director to provide strategic guidance and support as the business continues to grow again in 2023 and beyond.

Key duties will include:

• Manage a team of 12 accounting professionals
• Work closely with the Sales Director on pricing and margins for new contracts
• Lead the annual planning and forecasting process
• Oversee the production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Ensure all statutory accounts are produced and filed correctly

The Candidate

To be considered for this Finance Director role we are looking for applicants with the following:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualifications
• Prior experience within a rapidly growing business
• Comfortable operating with stakeholders at Board Level
• Previous line management experience
• Strong commercial acumen
