Due to growth within our Finance team, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to manage the Financial Accounting team here at Banham. As a Finance Manager, you will manage the day-to-day accounting and act as a role model for business improvement whilst being responsible for identifying opportunities and developing new process improvement projects within finance. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the office and two days working from home.

What can you bring to Banham?

As a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Finance Manager, your experience managing a finance team as well as implementing new business improvements models will mean that you:

• Have the ability and knowledge to manage and create the monthly consolidated management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Key metrics), including variance analysis, highlighting exceptions to aid business decisions.
• Happy to support the Head of Finance and other key members of the Finance Team when necessary, such as ad hoc projects.
• Implement continuous improvement of the Group’s monthly financial reporting process and controls.
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Will assist the FP&A team with Budget and forecasting.
• Have previous experience managing a small team and understanding their training and business needs are met to enhance retention.
• Manage, with assistance from the team, the consolidation and preparation of annual statutory financial statements for Group entities.
• Manage the planning and execution of the Groups year-end audit to ensure it is delivered on time.
• Have excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
• Are familiar with X3 and Sage systems (preferred not essential).
• Bring with you strong management and financial accounts experience
• Have excellent communication skills, effectively communicating with Stakeholders across all levels within the business.
• Knowledge & experience of managing the end-to-end annual audit process, and liaising with external auditors.
