We are recruiting for an exciting manufacturing business based in Kingswinford. The company is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis, as well as experience in project management. You will have the chance to work with the FD to grow the business and impact plenty of change!
Working Pattern:
The business offers a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Main Duties:
Produce management information, including consolidated management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Become a key business partner round the business in two ways
1 – Drive profitability up and costs down by working with operational and project teams
2 – Go round the businesses consistently spotting weak processes and improving or automating them
Manage cash flow and forecast future cash requirements.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Produce, maintain, and report on project accounts.
Partner with business stakeholders to ensure financial requirements are met.
Support the Finance Director with the preparation of forecasts and annual business plans.
Liaise with project and operational teams on financial matters.
Share best practice for business/functional support, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.
Other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

What We Are Looking For:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with experience in a project manufacturing or engineering sector. We however will take studying candidates or very strong QBEs.
Practical “hands-on” approach, used to working with small teams in a fast-moving business environment.
Strong and confident communicator with the ability to translate data into plain English.
Ability to work simultaneously on various projects and deliver tailored results for each.
Advanced MS Excel skills for analysis and financial modelling.
Experience of ERP management and improvement would be highly desirable.
Passion for process improvement.
