We work with top UX agencies, government departments, start ups, founders and global companies to provide a consultative and intelligent participant recruitment service into user experience and research teams across the UK.

The role?

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to deliver and oversee the day to day financial management of the business. The role supports the directors and key decision makers, with high quality and accurate financial information on the business. The role delivers and overseas all financial operations in the business, and is responsible for maintaining company accounts.

If you’re CIMA, ACA, ACCA or ICAEW accredited you could be just the person we are looking for. We need someone with a strong background in management accounting to join our team. Ideally you’ll have strong experience with Sage 50, and even better if you also have experience using Fathom.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all invoicing, PO tracking and debt chasing carried out by assistant – assistance will be needed
• Reconciliation of main bank account, credit card account, charge card account, Pleo account, Giftpay account, petty cash account
• Update daily rolling cashflow forecast
• Oversee admin assistant and be on hand for any queries, oversee part time payment staff who make all payments to participants who take part in research.
• Assist Payment staff with any participant queries RE payment.
• Managing of PO and PO process
• Conduct weekly 1 to 1s to plan admin assistants tasks for support team
• Pay suppliers weekly based on cashflow forecast – complete ownership
• Onboard and credit check all clients – There is an assistant who can do UK onboarding however needs assistance. Any overseas to be done by Finance manager.
• Input supplier invoices
• Complete onboarding / procurement forms. Set up any platforms that need to be set up
• Breakdown Incentive platform costs for project managers in relation to third party platforms used
• Ensure data cleanses are conducted – assistant should be completing
• Sales reconciliation between two platforms used (Sage and Workbooks)
• Update monthly forecasted P&L based on any changes
• Update the monthly cashflow forecast
• Complete MI reporting for government clients
• Manage trade debtor and trade creditor schedules
• VAT returns prepared and submitted/ payment set up
• Prepare management accounts – complete ownership
• Complete quarterly budget reports for 4x departments
• Raise dividend paperwork / post div journals – keep an eye on DLA overdrawn amounts and raise additional paperwork if needed based on the limit before charges
• Complete and Submit PSA

What do we need from you?

• ACA, ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA qualified
• Hands on experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
• Hands on experience of Sage 50 Accounts
• Experience using Fathom (or similar financial analysis and reporting system)
• Strong administration, IT and Excel skills (ideally advanced Excel)
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload, and the changing demands of a growing business
