Finance Manager – Corporate and Technical

Panoramic Associates are currently supporting a Local Authority to recruit a Finance Manager in Lancashire UK to do leadership responsibility for key council accounting tasks, such as the creation of statements of accounts, closedown procedures, capital and revenue budgeting, and be a technical accountancy lead for the Finance team.

Job Title: Finance Manager – Corporate and Technical
Location: Lancashire area, UK

Perm/Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Hybrid – Onsite once a fortnight
Salary – Up to $55k per annum.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the completion of Committee and Council reports.
• Actively track and report performance using agreed-upon KPIs.
• Timely completion of grant claims, statutory and other returns, financial performance indicators, and other financial information.

Experience:

• Experience working with Local Authorities or Local Government
• Needs to have experience in Capital Accounting
• Fully Qualified Accountant
• Someone with Leadership experience and managing people.
