Finance Manager – Hybrid Working

Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a division, of an internationally facing organisation, to recruit a Finance Manager to work on their site based on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a newly created opportunity and will offer hybrid working with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a broad role encompassing a range of financial and management accounting duties, as well as, sharing management responsibilities of a team of 5 accounts staff. Key responsibilities will include control of the month end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash control & forecasting. You will produce the draft management accounts pack and provide ad hoc analysis for the FC and directors. – the business is seeking someone who enjoys interacting with non-finance staff to provide, but also challenge the numbers.The company is going through a period of positive change including a pending new ERP systems implementation so there will be an opportunity to be involved in the integration of new processes as well as changes to group reporting. Ideally you will be a Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a fairly broad range of financial and management accounting experience. This role will suit someone who enjoys getting stuck in, whatever the task, working as part of a cross functional team to get the job done.
