This is a fantastic opportunity for a resourceful finance professional to join our International Services UK team. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will lead our Finance Team in effective day to day financial operations, overseeing the team’s provision of quality financial services to all IFES offices and national movements. The postholder will oversee the effective management and reporting of IFES finances and work closely with the CFO on financial planning and strategy, risk management and financial governance at the corporate level.
As well as having a good understanding of Christian student ministry, the successful candidate will be an inspiring leader to the Finance team, bringing in-depth technical expertise and a track record of contributing to the development of more efficient finance systems and processes, with thorough, pragmatic internal controls. Candidates should hold a professional accounting qualification and have experience working strategically and operationally. Candidates must be able to work effectively with people from different contexts in an interdenominational, international Christian organisation, and ensure strong collaboration with key partners.
