Edenbrook are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager (Change) for one of UK’s leading Insurance providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the collaboration between financial reporting teams, finance systems teams and the wider business to shape and implement the integration of new systems development into the company.
Main responsibilities:
Ensuring the financial reporting teams are up-to-date with new standards, accounting carried out correctl and controls are in place.
Managing stakeholders of the highest level in partnership with the Financial Controller and CFO.
Positioning the correct controls, processes and culture to new systems and IFRS 17 to BAU reporting.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller to support Esure’s transformation.
Actively sharing technical knowledge with the team as well as the non-core team.
The ideal candidate should have but not limited to;
Analytical thinking and ability to understand the business rationale for changes
A qualified accountant
Experience in an insurance financial accounting role
The ability to interpret regulatory and statutory regulations
