Robert Walters are delighted to be partnering with our client on the recruitment of a new Fixed Assets Finance Manager with a successful, well known business based in Watford. We are looking for a qualified (ACA or ACCA) and experienced Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of fixed assets and IFRS16 lease accounting, helping to ensure robust financial control and reporting

Key responsibilities for the Fixed Asset Finance Manager include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the fixed assets and lease assets registers and reporting requirements thereafter Responsible for all fixed assets and capex reporting requirements ensuring the Group’s capitalisation policies and control processes are working effectively Oversee fixed asset register period end processes such as asset additions, disposals, depreciation etc Ownership of the Group’s IFRS16 control and reporting including responsibility for the lease accounting system Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets and IFRS 16 ensuring reconciling items are investigated and resolved Analyse project costs, working with relevant teams to ensure costs are recorded accurately Prepare budgets, forecasts and 5-year plans for fixed assets and IFRS 16 for both balance sheet and p&l Provide information and insight to stakeholders such as finance business partners, store managers, operations teams, etc. as and when required to help shape and deliver strategies of the wider business Assist with interim and year-end external audits and internal audits as necessary Manage and develop two direct reports

Requirements:

Qualified ACCA OR ACA. Familiar with capex reporting and managing a fixed asset register Maintaining and enhancing financial controls Advanced Excel skills Excellent attention to detail Proactive; using self-initiative Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of IAS 16 – Property, Plant & Equipment Knowledge of IFRS 16 – Leases Ideally have experience with Oracle NetSuite Ideally have experience managing people

On Offer:

This Fixed Asset Manager role has a salary of up to £55,000 dependant on experience & qualification and benefits including 15% bonus, pension, 25 days holiday, hybrid working and many other company specific benefits.
