Just Eat is looking to hire a Forecasting Analyst into the UK Finance Team to further support the diverse, and fast-evolving, requirements of Just Eat. Supporting the Head of Finance – Delivery and the broader Delivery Operations team, this is a ‘hands-on’ role with an opportunity to gain experience and influence in the highest growth area of the business.
You are someone who is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. You are comfortable working with large volumes of unstructured data, have strong modelling experience and understand the commercial implications of forecasting on operations and trading performance. You enjoy working with a number of stakeholders across the business and identifying and implementing improvements to manual processes.
Preparation, consolidation and distribution of UK weekly operational forecast for delivery operations network across all delivery models in accordance with agreed service levels.
Understanding and assessment of key trading drivers (e.g. campaigns, seasonality) and implications for forecasting through cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Marketing and Commercial teams.
Management of weekly deep-dive reporting on forecast accuracy to understand key variances and root causes.
Effective project management with an Analytics and Data Science team to input, automate and streamline the forecasting process where possible.
Deliver internal reports and insights analysis which drive operational excellence.
Required skills and experience
High level of attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with proven experience in forecasting
Enjoys working with data and comfortable dealing with unstructured data
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise competing demands
A confident self-starter with the ability to think and react quickly
Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
Strong command of analytical SQL, or similar tools/languages is desirable.
