Full Stack Engineer
The nature of the product means the majority of the work is in the Back End, but we have bold ambitions on the Front End as well! You will join our growing team and help us build out all aspects of our technology – this includes the entire pipeline from extracting data, mutating and deriving additional insights from it, to finally delivering it into our client’s hands.
Day to day for the Full Stack Engineer:
. Build and evolve the APIs and features at the core of our platform
. Build core internal tools for interfacing with the data, from extraction to validation
. Build and develop the screens and features of our client facing product
. Develop and test AI/ML models to aid extraction, data validation and analysis
. Design and implement world class infrastructure and DevOps
We’re looking for people with a real passion for making a difference. A Full Stack Engineer who cares about the code they write – both its quality and what it’s used for. We want people who are intellectually curious, but like getting stuff done. We want people who want to build something awesome, and have fun whilst doing it.
. These are the skills we’re looking for – we don’t expect you to have all of them – rather some of them and an enthusiasm for learning!
. Familiarity with Python, notably web frameworks (Flask, Django, etc) and database libraries (SQLAlchemy)
. Experience working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and at least an awareness of NoSQL databases or alternative data-stores.
. Background in science (STEM subject at degree level) or data analysis (previous experience working with data)
. Experience with NLP in python (NLTK, SpaCy, AllenNLP)
. Experience with Neural Net frameworks (PyTorch/Tensorflow)
. Experience working in or with the financial industry
If this is the Full Stack Engineer for you – hit apply!
