GBO Transition Specialist – £450-500/day – 6 months – Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transition Manager to oversee the execution of country specific Global Business Operations (GBO). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of operations according to the established plan, including necessary preparations and adherence to quality and timing standards. This role will involve clarifying responsibilities and expectations between partners, ourselves, and countries, providing essential support during roll-out activities, and supervising GBO partner activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the consistent use of globally common operations management templates, tools, and infrastructure to facilitate effective communication and business partner handling.
• Support the deployment of the global transition management framework for GBO and ensure its consistent application.
• Collaborate with external partners and Group Functions to develop clear plans and strategies for transition management, implementing them into day-to-day operations.
• Create detailed project plans for GBO-related deliveries and ensure all necessary activities are completed.
• Assist the Transition Manager in scope management, delivery approach, progress follow-up, and periodic status reporting.
• Ensure the execution of the transition according to the plan, including quality and timing review.
• Act as the project plan owner, ensuring customer satisfaction from both group and country organizations by delivering value within the planned timelines.

Requirements:

• Strong business acumen and ability to identify external trends to contribute to service growth.
• Focus on quality, tracking service results, and taking actions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Comfortable leading in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving demands.
• Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze and evaluate data, generate innovative ideas, and make data-driven decisions.
• Learning agility, with the ability to apply past experiences to succeed under new conditions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including effective communication at various organizational levels.
• Deep knowledge of MS Project, Visio, SAP, and other relevant tools
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in the service industry, specifically within finance and sourcing operations.
• Extensive knowledge of Transition Management processes, methodologies, and Finance, Procurement, and People & Culture (P&C) processes and operations.
