A quick look at the role This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join a large business transformation programme delivering state-of-the-art systems and business processes. The role consists of both functional and technical activities, where you will gain exposure to a dynamic business environment and learn business processes while gaining hands-on expertise in Microsoft or Ceridian systems. Whilst on the graduate program you will also have the opportunity to attend quarterly professional work shops and operational site visits. Your core responsibilities Learn the business processes being implemented within your workstream and become a system expert to provide support and advice Provide system support to the programme workstream in various areas such as writing specifications, system testing, system training and data migration Assist in the design and review of specifications for interfaces, system enhancements, security roles and reports Learn the functional and technical components of the relevant systems applications Write test script and assist in the identification of test scenarios to validate business processes and outcomes Conduct testing of the system according to the test scenarios and scripts Assist in data mapping and reconciliation activities Assist in the writing of technical documents & specifications as necessary Liaise with the wider business to resolve system and data issues Assist in the creation of end-user training material (e.g., scripts, presentations, e-learning, etc.) Conduct training sessions with the end-users. Our essential requirements Recent graduate ideally in a subject with a strong numerate focus e.g. Science, Mathematics, IT and Engineering Some experience in coding or in the design, development and testing of IT solutions Confident with all Microsoft Applications including advanced ExcelBiffa – we’re changing the way people think about waste At Biffa, we love working with waste.
