In this pivotal role, you will have the exposure of working closely with senior management to provide advice and insights to support key strategic decisions. Group Treasury is responsible for developing and maintaining Macquarie’s relationships with banks from a group-wide perspective. This assists Macquarie and its business groups when engaging with banks on a variety of business activities and opportunities as well as allowing Macquarie to diversify its funding sources by accessing bank funding facilities.
In this role you will engage with key stakeholders at financial institutions and across Macquarie’s businesses in EMEA, to share insights, understand their needs and priorities, and identify opportunities to work together and improve outcomes in a broad range of areas across all our business activities, including but not limited to financing.
You will provide input to briefings for Macquarie senior management meetings with banks, to ensure they are across the latest developments and key priorities we’re working on with banks across the region. In addition, you will help to maintain and improve the qualitative and quantitative information we capture from various stakeholders to share with the businesses and various management committees.
You’re a natural collaborator, with proven ability to build relationships, coach and support others to complement the existing team and business. Needless to say, you have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an intuitive and innovative approach to your work.
