Heat Treatment Operative

Job Summary

Working within the Forge/ Conditioning Department you will be responsible for the day to day operation and monitoring of the heat treatment/heat to forge furnaces.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Slinging duties during loading and unloading FLT & Sideloader Assisting with sawing/straightening within the Department. Assist Straightener on Bump press work. Adherence to technical heat treatment instructions for material compliance Updating and bookings of the internal computer system Programming of furnace control systems Assistance with dispatching of material from the department Working under own initiative Completion of daily compliance checks

Other Duties and Responsibilities Involvement in improvement activities- Problem solving reports- Method improvement- Up keep of 5S Active participation in team meetings Maintaining high housekeeping standards

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 6 TO 9 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO START WITH, WORKING DIRECTLY FOR THE COMPANY.
