Infrastructure IT Manager – Retail

Established Retail organisation requires a driven and self-motivated IT Infrastructure Manager to join their technical team. The key to this role is ensuring smooth operations of systems and infrastructure. The Infrastructure Manager will stay ahead of the technology curve and manage server/network infrastructure.

Purpose of Role.

• Manage a team of 7+ people.
• Ability to help build a long-term infrastructure strategy.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft environments VMware, 365 and Cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in developing cloud technology roadmaps and strategies
• Experience of working within an ITIL framework
• Ability to be proactive and prioritise workload effectively for you and the team

Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure management, including network, Servers, storage, and virtualisation.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure technologies, and security principles.
• Proficient in infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Adept at working with challenging users in a fast-paced trading floor environment.
