A unique opportunity to join an established global pharmaceutical company and become part of a company leading in innovation. As an Instrument Engineer, you will be joining a dedicated and supportive team at a time of growth and investment.
Within this role, you will be responsible for maintenance activities ensuring the continuation of manufacturing is on schedule at the busy 24/7 site. You will be expected to support engineering projects and large capital investments within the controlled GMP environment.
Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner
Support projects during periods of large capital investment (current situation)
Routine out-of-hours emergency call-out support on the ‘eng call out rota’
Liaise with various departments and take the responsibility for external contractors
Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and re reflects correct validated status
Provide support to both the electrical and mechanical engineersRequirements:
Ideally having served a recognised Instrument or similar apprenticeship complete with supporting qualifications
HNC / HND or an equivalent electrical engineering qualification is desirable, candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience also desirable
Familiarity and experience with standard industrial electrical LV infrastructure, process Instrumentation, and variable speed drives
Knowledge or previous experience of GMP compliance, deviation management, change control and process improvement programmes.
