The Role Internal Business Manager / Sales Account Manager Being an entrepreneurial organisation with a customer centric ethos at the heart of everything we do, as an Internal Business Manager you will be responsible for a territory of customers, and will grow sales, provide proactive customer service, and maintain high sales standards. Your duties will include: Managing existing accounts internally Arranging customer visits and video calls when necessary Managing fluctuating customers and customer retention Maintaining regular contact with an established customer base with an emphasis on developing long-term relationships Identifying business opportunities with new and existing customers Organising sample shipments Qualifying incoming enquiries and offering the best price Following up on offers and closing business Handling reclamations Managing customer orders, forecasts, contracts, and expedites Participating in sales meetings Dealing with process change notifications and process termination notifications The Package We have ambitious diversity and inclusion goals. Working from our Head Office located in Salford Quays, you will benefit from: Permanent contract working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Salary in the region of £30,000 to £35,000 with level dependent on experience Company performance-based incentives 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service up to 27 days per year Private healthcare (upon successful completion of 2 years service) Company pension Company laptop Our Requirements – Internal Business Manager / Sales Account Manager We are looking for a results-driven, motivated Internal Business Manager to take ownership and pride in the role, and you will have the following: Proven sales experience An interest in learning more about electronics Superb listening skills, with confidence to make quick decisions and close business Excellent telephone manner, and communication skills to engage both customers and colleagues Ability to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team Excellent time management skills Great attention to detail Willingness to learn and develop Although not essential, experience within the electronics industry would be highly advantageous.
