Inventory and Stores Person with FLT Licence

Our client – a leading manufacturer/distributer based in Leicester – is seeking an experienced inventory / stores person to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking receipt of all released goods into release stores, maintain stock integrity and material movement into production areas. In terms of suitability, the ideal candidate should:

• Possess a proven track record working within a busy warehouse / distribution environment,
• Have stock control experience, maintaining stock integrity & material movement,
• Experience using MS Excel,
• Must be a Fork Truck licence holder and have experience with a PPT/Pedestrian Stacker,
• Have a full clean driving licence – work vans are used to distribute stock around warehouses. Banksman Certificate and/or Multi-Level Multi-Purpose Vehicle licence would be advantageous,
• Be able to work at heights using use an order picker truck,
• Strong team working skills are essential, and able to work on own initiative,
• Following both written and verbal instructions accurately,
• Good liaison skills.

Package

• Appointment Type: Permanent
• Salary: £20,800 – £22,800 (subject to experience)
• KPI Bonus: up to 7% Salary
• Hours: Full-Time (early Friday finish)
• Death-in-Service (4x annual salary)
• Private Health (after 6-month probation)
• Pension
