Regular travel to Europe (around one week per month).
We are seeking an experienced 2 x IT Field infrastructure engineers to join our client, a leading international life sciences organisation, with specialist environmental, pharmaceutical, environment, and food divisions.
This newly created role will be part of their agriscience division, and the successful candidate will join a small, growing, and remotely working team.
Their ideal candidate will have team leadership experience, as you’ll be overseeing other team members and be comfortable with minimal management and the ability to problem solve and work on your own initiative.
This role can be offered on a fully remote basis. There will also be a requirement to travel to their European sites up to 7 days per month.
Duties will include:
Oversee and help with the development and implementation of a range of new infrastructure projects, the aim of which is to help them segregate their current company-wide IT infrastructure into individual networks for each division.
Work closely with vendors to manage, advise, troubleshoot, and challenge these third parties where necessary.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure of an organisation
Requirements
A driving license would be needed for travel to remote sites.
Good command of English (Other European Languages highly desirable)
Ability to travel to all European Countries.
Has knowledge of Windows Server, and VPNs (implementation, not design). VLAN (configuration is beneficial), Vmware, Azure and Network Switches.
