The company

Specialised US Financial Infrastructure Group who are leaders in the Forex markets globally.

The role

You would be responsible for the specific technical design, build and deployment of both new solutions and enhancements to existing solutions.

When asked to do so, you would represent the Engineering team and speak with authority, providing the necessary expertise to technically drive the project through the full life cycle, from the initial concept, design, implementation and the handover into production support.

The role will include both a hands-on element as well as an architectural design implementation.

The Responsibilities

• Liaise with partners and provide security assurance for BAU activities such as regular tech spec and health check reviews.

• Operate and maintain security controls related to SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, EPP, EDR, Network Protection, etc.

• Oversee design principles and controls relating to third-party solution providers.

Essential experience

• Architecture background (designing and implementing)

• Strong documentation and report writing skills (to both technical and business audiences)

• Strong understanding of designing to meet security principles and compliance

• Sound knowledge of enterprise security concepts/frameworks and products, secure design principles and patterns

Desirable experience

• Background in the Finance industry.

• They are primarily on-prem but some understanding of SaaS services would be advantageous

• Security Risk experience is a huge plus
