The Senior IT Support Engineer will join a small IT and will play an integral role in the day to day running of the companies IT systems, hardware, software, networks and ERP.
The chosen candidate will provide day to day support for users as well as maintaining all areas of their Infrastructure. The role will involve a range of 2nd and 3rd Line Support tasks but because it is a small team the role will be vary varied.
There will be a mix of BAU/Operational support alongside project work and longer term development opportunities will be given to a candidate to add to their skill set.

Key Competencies and Experience:
At least two years of commercial technical consulting experience or at least two years of 2nd or 3rd Line IT support experience.
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
Comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware, including component replacements.
Strong M365 Office skills and knowledge.
Good knowledge of IP Networking, Routers, Firewalls, Managed Switches, Access Points, etc.
Some knowledge/experience of network cabling.
Some understanding of Relational Databases and SQL Query Language
