You will be a JavaScript enthusiast and TypeScript will be your framework of choice. You’ll have moved away from the nitty gritty engineering stuff though and now your role is to lead, manage and inspire an incredibly talented team of Software Engineers.

I am looking for a Software Development Manager with a proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale, JavaScript focused solutions for a market-leading business who have been recognised as one of the UK’s Number 1 places to work! They’re a well-recognised brand and absolutely a leader within what they do.

As a Dev Lead you will be at the absolute heart of the delivery team while taking ownership of multiple, technical solutions with a TypeScript and JavaScript focus. You’ll be a true man-manager – one that leads by example and knows exactly how to get the best out of your teams. You will provide support, leadership, and oversight to multiple project teams ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Whereas this role is hands off we are still looking for someone with strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript languages and have good awareness of frameworks such as React.js and Node.js. Scope for learning here is vast – They have a substantial progression plan so opportunity to put your own stamp is massive!
