Laboratory Process Operator

CK Science are recruiting for a Laboratory Process Operator to join a sustainable aggregates and cement company at their site based in Dunbar on a 6 month contract basis.

This role is on a shift basis (including night shift)

Location:
Dunbar – East Lothian, with good access to local transport links.

Your main duties will be:

• Conduct ad-hoc sampling/testing of raw materials and in process materials at request of the quality department.
• Perform routine testing on back up equipment to ensure 100% up time of laboratory equipment.
• Perform baseline equipment maintenance.
• Ensure all in-process data is present and accurate.

Your Background:

• Higher level or equivalent in Maths, Chemistry, Physics & Biology.
• Laboratory experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong IT literacy
• Understanding of Good Laboratory practices (GLP)
