Rullion Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Lead Management Accountant to join our Financial Control Team. You will support the business areas in respect of financial control, reporting and advice, primarily in relation to the reporting of operating costs and capital investment opportunities. This role is expected to drive improvements in the way we capture and control costs

Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for providing the business area and central finance team with monthly variance analysis covering both income & expenditure and balance sheet accounts.
• Reviewing journals, control accounts, finance packs, budgets and forecasts for a variety of different areas
• Responsible for feeding into regulatory reporting process
• Reviewing and challenging a variety of business cases including the review of PAC papers and VSP’s.
• Stakeholder management

Knowledge and Skills

• Must be a qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy body
• Able to communicate complex solutions in simple terms and engage with/influence key stakeholders at all levels
• Must be able to build effective relationships
• Ability to analyse and interpret information
• Deliver to tight timescales
• Strong commercial background and acumen
• Innovative and a problem solver
• Must be able to work autonomously when required but also be a team player.
