Five Education are working with a special needs school based in Bristol that are looking to recruit a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis. This role is to start in September 2023 on an initial temporary basis, with view to be employed permanently by the school from term 3 onwards of the next academic year. Responsibilities and duties: Working with small groups/individuals, working from teachers plans, sometimes with other support staff Implement advice from SLT within everyday learning Supervising as part of the class team, following agreed class expectations Provide positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviour/approach to learning . Lead activities as appropriate . Attend to the day to day needs of children, inside and outside the classroom Essential Criteria: . Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification 2 years worth of references A current DBS/Police check or willingness to obtain one Able to work between 08.30-15.30 5 days a week What can Five Education offer you?
