Hours of work: Full Time 40 hours per week working any 5 days out of 7 covering hours of 06:00-22:00

Salary: Up to £24,858 per year + pension and free gym membership

We are currently looking to add a Lifeguard Recreational Assistant to our operations team at our Brentford Leisure centre that boasts a Gym, 2 Swimming Pools, 2 Studios, Café, 3 Squash Courts, 8 court sports hall and a soft play.

What is the job of a Lifeguard Recreational Assistant

Reporting to the Aquatics Manager as the Lifeguard Recreational Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Actively engage with members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging repeat bookings, dealing with any customer queries, and delivering a high level of customer service
• Assist with the preparation of all areas for activities and special events as required
• Champion in role and take personal responsibility for all hygiene, health and safety policy and procedure
• Carry out cleaning duties across the centre
• Once qualified Carry out pool testing, and other health and safety checks
• Once qualified supervise the pool in accordance with RLSS standards and site operation procedures

We are looking for someone that

• Hold a NPLQ qualification
• Experience of delivering first class customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Have experience of working in a health and safety critical environment
