Frequent travel to Europe weeky – NOTE: 1.5 YEARS PROJECT IN EUROPE (Germany and Poland). Time on site: 4 days a week (three or four weeks/month). Experience: Overall around 10 years or more in design, development and support of automation related technologies Good knowledge of OT relevant communication frameworks OPC UA (Protocol Data Modelling), or Kepware PTC Programming of PLCs and HMI preferable in Beckhoff and Siemens S7 & S5 control systems. Design, troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve problems related to OPC UA or Kepware implementations Collaborate with different business teams for identification of smart manufacturing use cases and facilitate building the implementation road map. Integrate a variety of automated manufacturing capabilities on the MES cloud platform like sensors, Machines, PLCs, IOT devices, Gateways, PTC Kepware servers Identify and facilitate the addition of advanced technologies that will enable self-optimization of the connected assets in the manufacturing process. Building reusable components and applications for faster deployment of solutions. Understand Different manufacturing and information technology landscapes and Drive value deliverables from smart manufacturing projects. Skills Experience in IoT Protocols like OPC-UA/DA, MQTT, AMQP, Modbus etc. and Device Management, Device Security, Certificate Management. Expertise in technology and manufacturing processes like, Maintenance, Quality & Productivity Entrepreneurial spirit to continuously seek new applications. Experience in preparing cost- benefit analysis of the digital initiatives, tracking & estimation of business impact post implementation. Experience with ISA-95 and MESA standards and integration between layers, specifically top layers from MES to ERP. Exceptional presentation skills to have direct interaction with management and key stakeholders for identifying use cases, scoping the costs and resources, and getting signoff on projects and value delivered
