Marks Sattin are working with a Brigg based FMCG, who are seeking a confident Management Accountant to join their finance team!

Our client is seeking an Accountant with a good understanding of both standard costing and manufacturing processes. You will support the Head of Finance & Financial Controller as well as key Operational and Commercial business partners, in this fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Duties:

– Assist Financial Controller with monthly management accounts tasks, including reconciliations, Balance Sheet management and support overall controls and governance requirements.

– Produce key reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including insightful commentary as appropriate, in a timely and accurate manner to support business operations and performance management.

– Analyse Financial and Business data to assess and challenge performance.

– Own the monthly financial forecast, taking the lead in process improvements and working with management to drive meaningful insights and control, to support and influence business performance.

– As a key role in supporting the businesses improvement goals this is a great opportunity to be involved in a range of development projects, including Support optimisation of the newly implemented ERP & BI systems, ideally taking a lead role in creating insightful information and change management to improve business performance.
