Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Group Finance Risk (GFR) team. We coordinate the application of the Group Risk Management Framework across Finance and are responsible for providing Assurance for its Financial Reporting processes.
This is a new role as we look to re-shape the team and strengthen our expertise and capability, in particular around our SOX (Sarbanes- Oxley) compliance process and optimising the use of technology.
The role provides a perfect opportunity for the colleague to use their expertise and natural desire for change to help evolve our approach to assurance as we seek to place a greater emphasis on preventative controls and to improve our use of digital tools in SOX testing. Being able to respond to internal and external change will also be a key element of the role and will position us well to influence the ongoing (Group Strategic) Finance Transformation programme.
In support of our drive to strengthen our financial control environment more generally, the individual will also provide support on risk and control matters across the end-to-end business processes as well as within Finance.
The role reports into the Senior Manager, Group Finance Risk.
