About this opportunity
The Group Environmental Sustainability team is pivotal to the Group, helping reduce the emissions we finance by more than 50 per cent by 2030 and supporting the UK s ambition to be net zero by 2050. Our team plays a key role in support of our high-reaching goals through working with our customers, Government, and the market.
Within the Group Environmental Sustainability team we have an exciting opportunity as Manager, Nature working closely with the Head of Nature and the wider specialist team. You’ll manage a centre of expert knowledge leading on the emerging area of nature and contribute to the development of LBG s strategic position in this space.
You ll need a good understanding of nature-related issues and ideally have experience engaging on these at an industry level. You ll be supporting how nature is embedded in business decision making and be close to developments in the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). You ll need to be an excellent communicator – both written and oral – with experience of adapting your communications to a wide range of audiences. You ll work well with a variety of people and be experienced in building and developing positive relationships.
