Reed Education are working with a unique Nursery in Chertsey who are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Room Leader. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Room Leader in managing daily operations and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged babies up to preschool
Supporting the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of each child.
Assisting with the supervision and development of a team of dedicated nursery staff.
Building strong relationships with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, health, and safety guidelines, and nursery policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with a genuine passion for childcare.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Sound knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
An understanding of and commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality in an educational setting.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and safeguarding procedures.
