A market-leading Client of ours in the Merseyside area are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to work in their friendly and supportive team.

• The role is permanent, Full time 5 days per week
• 3-4 days Site-based, and 1-2 days Remote working
• Salary up to 45K per annum + benefits

Job Role:

This role will be working at various client sites across Merseyside with the possibility of 1 or 2 days per week being worked from home if appropriate.

You will predominantly be working with 5 clients, a mixture of local authority, food specialists, and Fire and Rescue.

This role will have a mixture of duties ranging between Case Management and Health Surveillance, with an approx. 70/30 split, and standard Referral times are 60 minutes.

This will be a varied role which will involve undertaking workplace assessments, and reporting on potential risks to health. You will undertake health surveillance, pre-employment and fitness for work screening where appropriate. You will also advise employees on both physical and mental health problems, all the while maintaining the highest standards of occupational health care.

Experience / skills required:

• Full OH Remit experience, inc Occupational Health management referrals
• You will need to be a Registered General Nurse with previous experience in Occupational Health, as an Occupational Health Advisor.
• Current NMC Registration
• An Occupational Health Nursing qualification is desirable however, candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
• You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload.
• Ability to travel to clinic when required.
• HAVs Tier 3 assessments will be required however, training can be provided for this.
