OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
Milky Tea is a small but highly creative and agile company that designs and makes video games for some of the world’s biggest brands, platforms and publishers. As Office Manager it would be your duty to support the Studio Director and the Management Team to ensure Milky Tea’s remote and studio based teams function behind the scenes day to day.
The Office Manager will play an integral part in supporting the Studio Director’s vision for the business, being their eyes and ears, helping to solve operational problems, implementing new processes, and improving the wellbeing and performance of the team.
Provide day to day operational support to the Studio Director and Management Team.
Develop, implement and maintain business operational systems, policies and procedures.
Help prepare and execute company contracts with all relevant staff, suppliers, clients and partners.
Oversee and manage all general administration for the company and its data. Ensure all important data is filed securely and backed up regularly.
Oversee all HR aspects of the business including requests, processes and policy through working with our external support provider. (External HR consultant)
Help with recruiting new staff – prepare Job Description, liaise with recruitment agencies, arrange interviews and identify hardware & software requirements etc.
Organise and implement on-boarding and off-boarding of employees when required.
Create and enforce Health & Safety policies across the company.
Work with the Management Team to ensure Milky Tea is a safe, secure and a happy place to work.
Manage internal purchase requests and operations budgets.
Manage, maintain and develop supplier relationships.
Prepare operational reports for the Studio Director when required.
Become the main GDPR representative within the company, review and maintain policies.
Audit staff movements including time sheets/ overtime and holidays.
Oversee company I.T. equipment needs and report/follow up issues with I.T. support when required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A minimum 3+ years’ experience in either Office Management, or as a Senior PA, or in a Senior Administration role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent experience (Ideal but not essential).
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to help organise others around them.
Possess a positive can-do attitude (you will be the representative of our company culture).
Someone who handles confidential information with discretion and can handle various competing demands.
Highly self-motivated and proactive person with ability to work both with minimal supervision and as part of a team environment.
Someone who is open-minded to new methods of working, with the ability to fit into a dynamic and creative team environment.
Someone who is a keen problem solver and reflective thinker.
Strong planning, project management and analytical skills.
Experience in booking corporate travel or supervising corporate travel requirements.
Possess an outgoing personality with the self-confidence to hold informed conversations with a variety of people in the world of IT, technology and gaming.
What we offer:
Remote working conditions although you will be required to visit the studio in Liverpool from time to time.
