Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Offshore Commissioning Controls & Instrument Engineer for a trip offshore for 1 week mobilising on the 19th June – 26th June
Responsibilities
Achieve safety standards as defined in the personal performance contract.
Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of working practices and systems to continuously improve systems, personal and team performance.
Carry out work by the client and project Healthy, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
Maintain the required technical quality of work.
Identify scope and schedule changes by Change Control Process.
Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures, standards, and regulations.
Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards, and legislative requirements related to the discipline.
Prepare estimates and schedules and assist in their review.
Maintain good communication with the Client and visit Assets when necessary.
Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project.
Essential:
Extensive commissioning and start up preparation and execution knowledge and experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield Projects.
Thorough understanding of and extensive practical use of Permit to Work and related systems.
Extensive knowledge and use of Commissioning Completion Management Systems and handover particularly major offshore oil and gas facilities.
Ability to build strong relationships with key project functional groups.
Strong communications and networking skills. – Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
Strong team player with an enthusiastic positive attitude.
Planning and organisation competency.
Ability to make rational decisions when under pressure. Preferred Requirements – Multiple discipline team working and supervision experience applied to Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, and Start Up activities.
Knowledge and practical use of Project Document Management Systems. – Open to ideas of others, incorporation of best practices, and active in knowledge sharing. Current survival and medical certificates are required for offshore travel.
