Job Description (Ophthalmic Technician):

We are recruiting for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team in East Grinstead, West Sussex. This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. The salary is 32,000 – 35,000.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Ophthalmic Technology, and experience working in a surgical setting. They will be responsible for providing support to the surgical team, including preparing patients for surgery, setting up equipment, and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities (Ophthalmic Technician):

• Prepare patients for surgery
• Set up equipment
• Assist with procedures
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Document patient care
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications (Ophthalmic Technician):

• NVQ Level 3 in Ophthalmic Technology or equivalent
• Experience working in a surgical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
