PC/Audit Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a PC/Audit engineer to join our client in Chester on an initial 13 day contract. This is a site based role and inside IR35, umbrella contractors only.

Scope of Work:

o Conduct an extensive physical audit of all IT assets across Stanlow and Tranmere. Broadly, this project will entail the following and will include:
o Securing Asset acquired list, Site Discovery, Identify Assets, Classify Assets, Assess Assets, Identify Asset Owners, Asset Location, Asset Reconciliation.

o The main objectives of a physical verification of IT assets:
* To be certain that the assets listed on the balance sheet are accurate, authentic, and real. To determine whether the IT assets exist.
* Check to see if all the listed papers are legitimate.
* To determine whether the asset’s condition is correct.
* One of the primary goals of verifications is to determine asset ownership and title.
* IT assets that are identified without tagging would entail the supplier to affix appropriate tags on the assets so they could be validated in the future.
* Asset tag type (Bar Code, QR Code, RFID etc.)
* To show the right asset and liability value.
* Maintain a high level of compliance.
* To check that purchased assets are accurately identified.
* After depreciation, verify that the asset’s genuine worth is represented.
* Because assets may be misused or stolen, verification is done to detect fraud.
