We currently have a fantastic opportunity for Pricing Analysts to join our growing Global, Corporate & Speciality (GCS) business.As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing the pricing agenda for GCS commercial lines products. You will oversee pricing analysis and performance analysis, identify commercial opportunities and will build forecasts and business cases.Working closely alongside the Underwriting teams, you will ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of rating structures and rates. The location for this role is ideally London but can be flexible – however, you would be required to travel to our London office as and when required. Duties and Responsibilities Develop working relationships with our experienced Underwriters in order to ensure the technical pricing of risks is clearly understood in the quotation processEnsure consistency of approach where analytical based pricing is not possibleEngage and handle stakeholders across all relevant internal & external teamsPeer review underwriting and pricing work and provide technical mentorshipDevelop our pricing capability across all products in Global & CorporateSeek out opportunities to introduce new & innovative pricing methodologies and look to simplify our rating processes and drive efficiency savings Skills and Experience Required Proven ability in the pricing and analysis of general insurance accountsHighly numerate with experience of analytical tools and techniques, SAS or SQL and VBAProven track record in a commercial or pricing roleAbility to think strategically and operationallyA strong numerical and analytical approach is essentialAn outstanding communicatorWe will require you to have positive relationship management skills What will you get for this role?
